Hi, I'm Kerstin  and I am a Personal Care Assistant serving folks in Calabash, NC and Little River and North Myrtle Beach, SC.

I've been helping families in the area since 2019 after 15 wonderful years in the veterinary field full of dog fur and cat hair.

What do I actually do?  Well, I can help with personal care, like assisting with bathing, showering, grooming, dressing and toileting.  I can also offer meal preparation, companionship, including accompanying someone to appointments.  I offer medication reminders and even some light housekeeping, for example, changing linens/making beds and laundering clothes.  I even scoop cat boxes!

Most of my clients are with me for years, usually in their own homes but sometimes I visit them in assisted living facilities or nursing homes in our area.

Some of my clients request visits once or twice daily, but others just once weekly.  It really depends on what is required/requested.  Often I work alongside the Hospice team or in-home nursing care.  I can help you decide what would likely be best once we've had a chance to visit.

I believe at the end of the day,  we are here to be of service to one another and I'm very thankful that I get the opportunity to be helpful, trustworthy and kind in my community of aging, but still very relevant, adults.
